Jebudo, located at 4th and Western in Koreatown, is a great spot to enjoy authentic Korean-style charcoal-grilled shellfish. They open at 11 AM, and the lunch specials offer a variety of dishes at reasonable prices. I’ve heard their grilled eel and marinated crab are also excellent. The assorted shellfish platter requires a minimum of two orders, but it’s worth it — you can taste a wide selection of fresh, live clams and shellfish. Watching them open and cook over the charcoal fire adds to the fun of the meal. The platter also comes with small octopus, shrimp, and fish, all grilled directly over the flame for extra flavor. There are several Korean-style shellfish barbecue spots in LA, but Jebudo is one of the places where longtime immigrants can relive the classic tastes of Korea. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience traditional Korean shellfish BBQ in Los Angeles.

Jae Bu Do's grilled shellfish is an absolute feast for the taste buds! The fresh seafood sizzles on the charcoal fire, emitting an enticing aroma. Each shellfish is plump and juicy, with a sweet and fresh taste. Especially when dipped in their special sauce, the flavor is elevated to a new level. Whether it's clams, scallops, or sea snails, everything is grilled to perfection, preserving the original taste of the seafood. If you're a seafood lover, you definitely can't miss this place!

Very legit Korean charcoal seafood BBQ. They cook for you too. Very well priced for the amount of food. Rough $80 per person, depending on how much food you could handle. I walked out very full and happy. Parking is not free, but I guess that's how LA operates. For the brave ones, try the lobster 🦞

Honestly had one of the best meals of my life here. The servers knew we weren’t familiar with all the types of fish, so they kept an eye on our grill and signaled to us when it was ready. Everything was incredibly fresh and high quality. There was so much food and the sauces were delicious.

The best charcoal seafood grill I’ve ever had in my life. Everything is always fresh and delicious whenever I visit LA from Vegas. All the waiters and the owner (the auntie) are very nice. My wife and I always order Combo B.
