Came here on a Sunday evening. There was parking available in the back, but I can see this place fill up, so street parking might be the next option. Place was pretty packed. Had a late dinner. Came for the frozen beer, but stayed for the dinner. The frozen beer is basically a frozen foam in a lemon meringue shape while the beer itself was at tap temperature. A nice touch. The menu is pretty extensive, and I'm not too familiar with Korean food, so it can look overwhelming. I decided to go for their spicy pork soup. Man, that was delicious! Served on a clay pot, the broth is beautifully spiced with their homemade gochujang. The plate could easily feed two. I also tried their pork belly plate and that was so good! Overall, a gem of a spot in K-Town. Our server was very nice and hospitable. A great late night spot for a late dinner. Young crowd. So many options to choose from. I'll definitely be back!
This place is incredibly overrated. I'm not sure what people are referring to when they talk about huge portions or great value, because that was not my experience at all. The portions were surprisingly skimpy for the price. I paid $31 for the rose tteokbokki, and it barely included any hot dog or fish cake. Like dude I know we are going thru it economy - wise and I see the prices at the grocery store but these are incredibly cheap ingredients. For that price point, I expected a much more generous serving. My friends ordered the assorted skewer for around $30, and only two or three skewers actually had meat. The rest were items like garlic or ginkgo nuts, which felt disappointing when you're expecting a meat skewers. On top of that, parking costs $5, which just adds to the feeling that this place isn't a great value overall. I would rather take my money and go to AYCE KBBQ.
The food was superb, went alone and cant recommend it enough. Awesome drinks, beautiful food. Will definitely visit again, ill come to LA just to come here. Love from Puerto Rico ❤️
Super fun and lively place! We waited about an hour on a Saturday night (typical for Ktown eateries) and I’d say it was well worth it. We ordered the 420 Fries, Pork Belly with green onions, and spicy oden soup. All were delicious but the standout was truly the pork belly! The marinade is sweet and the green onions balance it out perfectly. The apple frozen beers were a novelty but a little on the pricey side because of it. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, good vibes and free parking definitely adds to the reasons to come back here :)
I loved this place! We took a chance and tried a new restaurant and we absolutely enjoyed it! I ordered the pork belly with green onions. I ate everything! The green onions are thinly sliced and tossed in a sweet soy type sauce and the pork was super tender. My bf got spicy pork with kimchi and the portion was nice!! The flavor of the food here is definitely worth the price. Wish we could have gotten more water before the end of our meal though haha we were downing it!!
