I ordered bossam and budae jjigae and honestly, everything was so good ; fresh, hearty and perfectly seasoned. The staff were also super friendly and helpful that made the whole experience even better. (I came around dinner time, and I’m a little sad I couldn’t snap a pic of the side dishes.)

I ate here a few years ago with a couple friends and still think about it. The food was incredible--that goes without stating--one highlight was the kimchi jjim which was out of this world. But more importantly, the hospitality in which me and my friends were met is what makes this memorable. Immediately upon arrival, the owner and his team treated us like family and spent the entire night looking after us/making sure we felt welcome & special. Next time I'm in LA there is no doubt ill be here--the food is too good and staff too nice to pass up. Dont miss this spot!

My new favorite for pork gukbap! This place is an absolute gem. The pork gukbap is incredibly tasty and authentic—exactly what you want from a traditional Korean meal. Yes, it's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, which just adds to its charm, and the parking spaces are narrow, but it's 100% worth it. Let's keep this place our little secret!

Classic old school Korean restaurant with "I am from Korea" kind of food. It's not your Americanized, Chinese food imitation type of sweet and salty food. It's Korean-Korean style. My usual go-to is Kimchee Jjim with Sardines or Pork with thick broth. I love their Nakji Galbi Jjim (Octopus & Beef Rib Soup with White Cabbage). Their Intestine Stir Fry is solid also for drinking. I end the night with Cold Noodles to wash it all away.

K town just has unbeatable food. the ox tail is unsalted but spoon in salt and bam, collogen explosion. Its a nice non cramped spot. dont expect anything new, its just great k food
