We stumbled upon this Korean restaurant around 8:30 PM and decided to give it a try. There were only a couple of tables occupied, as they close at 10 PM. The owner greeted us warmly and provided attentive service throughout our visit. The food was fresh and flavorful; we ordered sake, which complemented the meal nicely. The owner enthusiastically guided us on how to enjoy bulgogi with rice wrappers, which added to the experience. Overall, we left feeling pleased with both the service and the food.

It’s just one of those places. You’re cold and hankering for something to warm the bones of your soul. You come here with a couple of friends, enjoy a nice bulgogi hotpot, wrapping the soupy meat in rice paper with veggies and all of a sudden, life is good. We got the combo dinner for 3-4 people and it was a lot of food. Make sure you bring cash for valet ($3).

We ordered ‘sliced beef in broth with Vietnam rice paper wrap’. It was yummy and filling. 2 servings minimum. We couldn’t eat everything. No lunchtime special for that menu anymore:(

Let me just start by saying I was touched by the kindness, keenness and warmth of the Korean grandma who works here. Thank you. Had dinner here after a long day of driving (6 hours) and sightseeing/hiking in April 2022, and I was just expecting a normal Korean meal but I couldn't have been more wrong. We were going to order individual plates but after browsing the menu, realized that the BBQ all-you-can-eat would have been a much better deal and changed our mind. And boy was I glad of the choice. Visiting from Toronto, I was no stranger to Korean food and Korean BBQ, but never have I been to a KBBQ place with such a wide variety of sides and sauces, all with generous portions and tasted amazing (is this the norm among Korean places in LA?). The meat was also very good. Above all, the Korean grandma treated us like we were her own grandchildren, helping us with cooking the meat so proactively while trying her best to explain all the sauces and side dishes despite language barriers. I was legit about to cry because she made me think of my great grandma who still lives in China and whom I haven't seen in years. Counting the KBBQ places I've been to in Toronto, this is still my favourite. If the restaurant staff/owner sees this review, please let the grandma know that I am very grateful for her hospitality and I wish her the best in her health and her life in the new year and in all the years ahead.

I found this place while I was in the area. The prices seemed very reasonable and it got great reviews. The staff was extremely friendly and dealt very well with the extremely large group that we had. The food was very fresh and the prices were amazing. How can you argue with all you can eat for $17.99! I would return here next time I am in the area!
