Always a fun thing to do with kids. It's $4 for a ticket but adults can accompany a child for free (standing next to child on the ride). The line always moves pretty fast. It's in an area of the mall with a little water feature and a play structure. It's a good way to entertain little ones for a bit.

The ride is more expensive than the one at South Coast Plaza, but as parents, we always try our best to make our kids happy. I’ve been here many times, but yesterday’s experience was not enjoyable at all. There was a lady working there—she had glasses, curly hair, and was a bit chubby—who was very unfriendly and unhelpful with me and my child. She picked on me about the seatbelt, and when I asked her for help, she told me, “I can’t,” and gave me a firm look, as if she wasn’t allowed to assist at all. There were no signs or instructions on how to fasten the seatbelt, and while I understand she was just doing her job, couldn’t she have been a little more friendly and helpful? At South Coast Plaza, the staff are always much more supportive. We paid $4 for a 3-minute ride—helping kids with the seatbelt should be part of the service. Unfortunately, this lady's attitude made me not want to return

My recent visit to the carousel was decent, but it left me wanting more. While the overall experience wasn't bad, the short ride time left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Additionally, I noticed a lack of friendliness among some employees at noon. With a few adjustments to enhance ride duration and improve staff friendliness, this carousel could easily elevate its appeal.

On the back of Target at the Irvine Spectrum Center there’s a carousel one of two in Irvine. I would say my favorite is at the Great Park. But when the child wants to go on carousel at that young age. You can’t say no!! The lady running the ride, I’m not sure if she had a bad case of "carouselitis" or if she was auditioning for the role of Grumpy Cat, but this lady had a face that could rival a bank vault. I mean, even cute kids saying hello couldn't crack that expression. But hey, we're here for the ride, not a stand-up comedy show that’s what the Irvine Improv is for. But hey, for only $3 per child, who can complain? And here's a golden nugget of information: if you're an adult accompanying a child under 40 inches, you get to ride for free! Talk about a deal that'll make your inner child jump for joy. Just make sure you're ready to stand next to your pint-sized companion, because you don't want to be that adult squeezed into a kiddie seat. Trust me, it's not a good look.
