1 star – Scam alert This is a fake business pretending to sell real products. What you actually get is junk, delays, excuses, or nothing at all. The quality is laughably bad when it shows up, and customer service conveniently disappears once they’ve got your money. Everything about this operation screams scam — misleading photos, fake hype, and zero accountability. Save yourself the headache and keep your wallet far away. If this isn’t a scam, it’s doing an incredible job of looking like one.
When I went there I was confronted with a locked opaque black glass door and no sign of life. I guess they don’t want my business. I will respect their wishes. Too bad; when they were Jun’s in Culver City they were pretty good. Yes, this may be related to the high crime rate where they are located.
I use to shop on a regular basis at the Jun's Electronics store in Culver City but after that store I closed I migrated to using their online store at HamCity.com for my orders. After just now having to pay an extra $15 today to have a UPS shipment re-routed to the correct address I will no longer be ordering from Ham City. While their employees are pleasant to deal with, I have found their phone and online systems to be inadequate and often frustrating to use. The above mis-shipment is associated with their system not being able to accommodate different addresses for billing and shipping on the same order. While the system lets the user input different addresses it then arbitrarily changes addresses without confirming first with the shopper, not good. The system also gives no indication if your item is in stock nor when it could ship requiring you to call the company to verify this information. Very inconvenient.
I found a rebate available, and asked the seller if they would honor it. Told me they were not aware of a rebate. After pushing on my part, they were able to find a rebate, but would not honor it. Said they received the rebate and are rolling it into the price. This is against good business practice when it says free shipping to have it hidden like this. I feel cheated by Amazon and ham city.
They do Amazon. I ordered 2x both Mfj tuners were broken. The second one was the same one I sent back Same box even. Sad beware How would you rate them?
