Terrible customer service. A subwoofer cone deteriorated that I owned and I contacted the manufacturer (Velodyne), to inquire about getting and replacing that part. They sent me to TAP electronics which insisted that I ship it to them even though I just wanted the part number. When I pressed them over a couple of weeks with no response they responded with "we don't give out part numbers". I hope other people steer clear of this company and how they treat someone who was respectfully and genuinely trying to replace a simple part on an otherwise well functioning unit.

Sent a Yamaha A-S801BL for warranty repair when the USB input was no longer recognized. Three weeks later I called for a status and got a message they would return the call in the order received. They never called. Then I used their website to inquire about repair status and they did not reply to this either. Finally I used their direct website email and was called the following day with news that my Amp had gone through quality control and was asked to reiterate my shipping address. However, over a week later my unit had not been received or even shipped. They had neither an explanation nor an apology but told me I just didn't understand their business. Finally, 10 days after their original call they shipped the unit back to me and the kicker is IT STILL HAD THE SAME PROBLEM it WAS NOT REPAIRED. I have never dealt with a repair service this bad before and hope never to have to in the future.

This place seems to be a good repair shop but it is not. No one answers phone calls or emails. It took 6 months to get my deck back from them. It played beautifully for 5 hours. I tried to contact them again and thought... why would I do that? I am going to cut my losses now and sell the broken deck and just buy a new one. My advice is DON'T bother with this place.

Very courteous and knowledgeable and also extremely prompt for the repair. It seems that the technicians took extra care on my esoteric unit. No scratches, fingerprints, perfect assembly, etc. and the unit sounds even better than previously. Thank you for your professionalism! Regards,Leonard

I should have left this review long, long ago. I brought in my Tascam Portastudio 464 to have it serviced. They did a great job. I was very pleased! Thank you Sal for answering all of my questions!
