this is what happens when you try to support local businesses sometimes. i wish i would have read the reviews about this pace before i took my boots there. i took my boots to get the soles replaced and cleaned up. before i took them to the shop, i put some boot dressing on them to see if they could clean up. i got the price for the repair and cleaning and i asked the man at the shop several times if he was going to clean up the shoes, his reply each time was yes. i go to get my boots today and the soles have been replaced like i was told they would be. Then I asked him about the cleaning that was supposed to happen on the boots. his reply was, he just finished cleaning them up. i told him the boot dressing that we both were looking at, was the dressing i put on the boots before i brought them there. he looked me straight in the face and lied to me over and over, saying he had cleaned them. i told him he was lying about cleaning my boots and he kept trying to say he did clean them. i would recommend to anyone, go someplace else before dealing with a liar who has a business that does not care about doing right by the customer. i will make sure to tell all my family and friends to never deal with this place...... Don´t support this place...
I paid $30 for a partial dyeing of my black sneakers. He quickly gave me a receipt as if would be no problem but when I returned the next weekend, I received poorly dyed shoes. I'll be dying them myself at home.
Stay away! A pair of Stacey Adams needed new soles, he replaced the leather soles with thin pieces of rubber. They felt horrible when I wore them. On another occasion my snake skins needed new soles, he glued new soles on and they kept falling off. After returning them three times, he hammered nails into the soles. I told him this wouldn't work and he denied putting in the nails and said I brought them to him with the nails already in (btw, my last visit).
Horible horible horible experience. The guy doesn't know what he is doing. I paid him $16 to glue a piece of velcro in back of the shoes . When I pick then up they had glue all over I ask him to please fix it he told me he couldn't do anything about it . Then he told me let me try something , he took the shoe to the back bring it back cover with whiteout 😭 he used whiteout to cover the glue .... what is wrong with him, can someone explain to him that you can't play around or do experiment with other people shoes!!! I had paid $140 for the shoes . Now They are trash, he wanted to give me $10 for the damage . I even call the police on him. They cant do anything about it but to filled a small claim. Goodluck if you decide to use his service .
Charged 15.00 to put a drop of glue on my shoe. I asked could he sew and he said no. He thought using glue a drop of glue was the best way to fix a shoe. No customer service.
