This small hardware store had everything I needed for a door repair and the clerk pulled exactly the right size hinge from an old box behind the counter. Prices were reasonable and the staff even offered a quick demonstration on installation. It’s the kind of place where they know how to improvise parts rather than selling you a new item. Friendly service and practical knowledge — excellent for household fixes. Support local mom-and-pop tools stores when you can
Yes, the little Korean lady at the front door who sits down is VERY VERY VERY RUDE. I went in there and had my $600 electric fold-able scooter and folded it and wanted to take it inside and she insisted I leave out outside in the parking lot and she said she was going to watch it. As I looked back after a few minutes instead of watching my scooter she was watching me. LOL I went back and was like I'm going to just carry it with me and she insisted that I leave it outside. I asked her if it gets stolen will she be responsible for it, and she said NO. WTH?? At that point, I just asked to speak to another person. Bottom line she was very very rude, but a few of the Hispanic guys in there were very helpful and really tried to help me. They were great. Sadly, it's people like that little woman who destroy the reputation of businesses and people in the community should know about the experiences that customers are having with these local community businesses. Little did she know i wanted to spend some decent money with that small business. But because if ALL that, my feeling for that business turned sour. I, in heart, will not support that business and will tell all my friends about my experience there. That lady does not know how to communicate with American people and customers. She should not be in that store treating people like that. Her energy and the way she talked to customers will make that business suffer. Thank the Creator for being able to post Google reviews, I really makes a difference and hopefully such post will make businesses see that customer service and how you treat customers is important.
I went in for items to make a repair at home. When I arrived, w/ N95 on, I was asked what I needed as if I did something wrong. I let them know I would browse to find what I needed. It was hard to search as the store is in complete chaos and a safety hazard. After only 5 minutes of searching through the disarray the older lady with short black bob and glasses (who tracked me the whole time I was there and made me very uncomfortable) started yelling at me to get out since it “seemed like I didn’t know what I needed”. I was completely caught off guard and stunned at this treatment! Especially during this time of progress. I laid the couple items I collected on the counter and told her she should be ashamed before leaving. If you’re looking for a safe, organized, and inclusive place to support this IS NOT the place!!
The lady who answer the phone speaks a rare language...cannot communicate
If you want personal service do not go to Poco Building Supply. I try to buy local and shop at owner operated businesses but after the “no service” I received today I will just go Home Depot. If you don’t know the owner you will just end up standing in line while customers after you will receive help and not you.
