Robert was very knowledgeable and honest about what kind of service I needed. He saved me a couple hundred dollars and I became a loyal customer. Look at the before and after pictures. If you live in LA you need to get a clean up every once in a while! It’s super dusty here!
I recently visited Computer Ahnex, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received. I was dealing with a pretty stressful issue—bent pins on my CPU and a heatsink that just wouldn’t let go—but their technician Tye went above and beyond to help. Tye handled everything with incredible skill and patience. He carefully straightened the CPU pins (something I definitely didn’t trust myself to do) and managed to separate the CPU from the heatsink without causing any damage. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing, and he explained everything clearly along the way. Thanks to Tye and the team at Computer Ahnex, my system is back up and running perfectly. A huge thank you to Tye for his expertise and professionalism—absolutely amazing service. I highly recommend Computer Ahnex to anyone needing computer repairs!
We were delighted with our recent experience at Computer Ahnex in Koreatown. My wife brought in her old Dell laptop which she loves to see if the operating system could be upgraded. One of the specialists, Ty, was extremely clear and honest about our best options. We left the computer for a few hours and came back to pick up the laptop which now has a new hard drive, additional RAM, and is working beautifully. We got great advice and would definitely recommend Computer Ahnex.
Im a beginner when it comes to computer repairs. Knowing that, I have some doubts when sending in things for repair, especially things as delicate as computers. That said, this store makes the whole process ridiculously easy, and tells you the truth whether it comes any questions you have, whether its quotes, risks, and the likes of that. They may be pricey depending on the type of job, but it is 100% worth it. I have seen numerous other reviews that hold a negative view against this place. I am here to say that most of them are extremely niche situations in where the customer was more of the problem than the technicians themselves. They are very kind, straightforward, and make it easy for any one of any technical level to understand the issues and solutions for one’s predicaments. All in all, this place is an excellent choice for anyone that has a variety of technical issues with computers, both hardware and software wise, and that is willing to down a fair amount of money for a guaranteed repair.
Very good service. I came in the other day because my Lenovo Thinkpad was running very slow and was heating up way too hot. Their employee Ty was very helpful with my problem. He really knows what he’s doing and he gets it done quick. They have great prices here, and I will be coming back!
