If you want good customer service as a business owner, this is definitely not the bank you want to work with, after considering to get a sba7 loan for my company i have had many options for lenders and unfortunately chose this bank to proceed, Alin kossain seems to be their manager and doesn’t seem to care about her customers, they close your accounts without notification or explanation, they wont try to contact you in any kind. Worst experience with a bank in my whole life. Their management should consider changing or at least schooling their staff. As well you cant make payments towards your loan and they want to make you definitely having hard time (maybe putting you on default on purpose) alin kossain has put various tickets for no reason on my account as well she called me in a not appointed time and talked very rude that she has no time to call back later when i was with clients (never experienced that from an employee before). Dont waste your time choose wisely.
My problem is not necessarily with the people at any branch and I've interacted with three branches in the 20 years I've had an account with CBT and there are a lot of good people I've worked with. The truth is they aren't really a "local" bank though because much of the gears of the machine are located in Salt Lake City. In the last five years these out of state folks have zealously locked my bank account and credit card at the slightest provocation--If I did anything out of my regular spending habits expect to have it blocked (i.e birthday gifts, a meal 4 hours away, etc.) I even tried calling ahead to let them know recently, and just because I called, they thought it was "suspicious" and blocked the account anyway! You just can't win. :( It wasn't always like this, but the last four years have been pretty bad and has made life inconvenient and stressful. So I'd try to dissuade anyone from banking with CBT, I for one am switching banks.
Waited over 40 minutes for them to verify a check that I wanted to cash. I was the only customer.
The worst bank ever. Customer service is zero, no one knows what's going on.
