I’m not even sure how this bank still exist. You should only go to this bank if you’re at least 70 years old otherwise you will want shoot yourself if you have deal with their antiquated systems. It is like a time traveler machine, if you want to live in the 50s again, this is your bank. Their online portal is terrible and is a terrible user experience. I needed to adjust a recurring payment. To do so I had to physically go into the bank 🤯 Who has that kind of time????? I’m at a loss for words.
Absolutely terrible experience. Completed a full application and submitted all docs and never heard back from anyone despite multiple attempts. STAY AWAY!!!
i love this bank! their customer service is the best in LA. bobby howard is always so gracious when we arrive. veronica castillo always returns our calls promptly, answers any questions and is professional, helpful and experienced. a big bank in a big city, with the service and friendliness like a small town bank, where everyone knows your name. even through all the changes of ownership, i am grateful for the continuity of the staff.
Standing in line for over 30 minutes now. Only one teller helping a VIP client in a private screened area who didn’t even acknowledge me or others waiting until I finally went over and asked if anyone else was available. “No, I’m the only one here” was the only response I received. Changing banks to First Republic where my client banks. I just cashed a check there (to deposit here) and received outstanding customer service! Still waiting…🙄
I don’t bank with them; however, if you’re cashing a check as a black woman—avoid Pat Carin. Very much racist energy and I’m surprised being that he’s a minority. Despite that, I waited almost 40 minutes because he only wanted to take deposits and refused to reopen his drawer almost an hour and ten before closing. Also threw my Amex plat and CA ID in at the counter. Unprofessional and would never come back.
