Today, 12/19/2025, one of your employees was gossiping on the corner of Sylvan and Van Nuys, watching a police operation. I was driving down Sylvan Street toward Van Nuys Boulevard, and that employee was standing in the middle of the street watching what was happening. When I signaled for him to let me pass because it was my turn to go, he slowly waved his hands to indicate that he didn't care and walked away mockingly. As a Chase Bank customer, I realize that this employee needs to improve his customer service. Perhaps he didn't think I was a Chase Bank customer. This incident demonstrates the employee's lack of empathy toward anyone, just to satisfy his curiosity about police gossip. This was around 12:00 pm, and a bank security guard witnessed it. ⭐ 1 STAR – WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at Chase Bank (6300 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA) I have never experienced such unprofessional, rude, and aggressive behavior at a bank until visiting this Chase branch. The branch manager, Walter Avila, and the branch operations lead, Isabel Ortega, showed a shocking lack of customer service, respect, and basic courtesy. Instead of helping, they acted irritated, dismissive, and outright hostile. Their tone was rude, their attitude unprofessional, and their behavior completely unacceptable for people in leadership positions at a major bank. I left the branch feeling disrespected, frustrated, and shocked that Chase allows this kind of treatment toward customers. This branch desperately needs better management, proper training, and accountability. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location if you expect to be treated with professionalism or basic human respect. Very painful and disappointing experience.
People can't do their jobs. I talked to the bank office on the phone for two hours to carry out a transaction through Zele for a small amount, and I was asked right now to confirm my identity to enter the bank branch so that a bank employee would call and confirm my identity. At the window, the employees, as well as the hall employee, kicked me off and said that you generally need to make an appointment with another employee for an experience the next day. Although they just checked my ID to change my phone number. They cannot call the bank office number to confirm my identity, but they can change my phone number.

Don't go there an hour before closing. Tellers are lazy and won't help you. I drove an hour to purchase a car, and went in and they wouldn't cut my cashiers check for it because they "couldnt". I was assured before I made the drive, that there wouldn't be an issue. Incompetence and lazy behavior. What a joke. The teller and a manager. Thank you for wasting my time. Losers.
