Honestly, this was one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had, and I would never recommend American Airlines to anyone. The company is not committed to its schedules and shows no concern for passengers’ comfort or health. I booked flight AA1811 from Houston to Philadelphia at 8:00 AM. Just one hour before boarding, we were informed that the flight was delayed to 12:00 PM, then to 1:00 PM, then 4:00 PM, then 5:00 PM, and finally 5:30 PM. After waiting more than 12 hours inside the airport, we were told that they didn’t even know when (or if) the flight would depart. 📌 I am pregnant and made them aware of my condition, but they showed no consideration at all and did not provide any proper alternatives. I requested to be moved to one of the other American Airlines flights departing the same day (at 11:30 AM or 2:00 PM), but they refused. Instead, they only gave me two options: • Cancel the trip and receive a refund. • Or wait until the next day and take a connecting flight through Charlotte to Philadelphia. This clearly shows how irresponsible the airline is and how little they value their passengers. They could have easily informed us earlier in the morning about the aircraft issue or arranged a proper alternative, especially given that there were many passengers affected. ❌ Conclusion: American Airlines is unreliable, irresponsible, and does not treat passengers with respect. It was a terrible experience, and I will never travel with them again.

Let me introduce you to Miss Lisa. At Houston Iah airport American Airlines So today is Friday, January 9 and I just wanna say that I had a wonderful spirit so far with American Airlines. I was reading the reviews last night and I thought to myself they can’t all be that bad? So when I got up to the counter, the lady was so nice to me. Also, while I was there, there was a manager a gentleman walking around prepping everybody up. I don’t know his name, but he was really sweet and all of the workers has smile on their face faces so good job American Airlines for me wonderful experience. May say I think it’s important to look at the glass half full, not always half empty. Also, at my gate, where my plane had got moved to, and I almost missed my plane. These people went above and beyond. Miss Ella in this picture on the right went above and beyond to call me on my phone and tell me to come back because my plane had come back. This is a matter of me getting into my location by 1:30 PM instead of 11 o’clock at night. Thank you so much to all of you. These agents are represented by Envoy (American Eagle.) Worst Airline ever My flight from Dallas to Corpus was canceled without any notifications. I was with a group of colleagues. Mine was the only 1 canceled. They made up all these reasons and said I canceled it when in fact I would never do so and had also purchased a 1st class upgrade just so I could sit comfortably and not be packed in like a sardine. AA are refusing to give me back my money paid for upgrade which was purchased on my credit card. $92 they keep sending auto email stating it was credited back for future flight. 3 times now I have demanded the money be sent back to my credit card to no avail. They have stolen my money and thinks its ok. I was also forced to rent a car from Dallas to Corpus so I could get home or I had to buy another flight with AA. I chose drive. I am out aprox $700 for car rental on top of my $92 upgrade. Fly elsewhere. All our flights were canceled and delayed over 5 flights. This does not include my flight they canceled and left me stranded. I have been to more airports than I can count and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. My flight had gotten cancelled before I even checked in, and after getting to the counter to talk with the person behind the desk, he informed me there was nothing he could do. I asked to simply be changed to a different flight and he gave a horrible attitude towards me and after going back and forth getting in and out of line to ask this rude dude what my options were (to which he said I had no options) a very kind lady came up and I explained the situation to her and she typed for about 15 seconds into the computer and had gotten it fixed. I will never give American my business again. Turned a 15 second fix into 2-3 hours of being stranded.

Missed our connection in Dallas when flying out of Houston because the plane didn’t arrive from somewhere else on time. Had to rebook another connection in Dallas. Boarded plane in Houston after two hours late leaving. Supposed to take off at 12:20. Still on the tarmac at 1pm. So unorganized.
