This place is so cute. The staff are always friendly, and they always always have my dog food in stock. They're really knowledgable and have sales and events often.

The specific location on Eglinton near Avenue Rd in Toronto. The associate behind the counter with blonde hair sitting with her laptop - who acknowledged my presence enter the store was very RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL- When I walked into the store to pick up dog food- I was greeted and was told to exit and enter from the back.. I asked do you know why I'm here? She stated "I do" that's why you need to leave and go around the back. I stated I was here for dog food; she repeated insisting I had to leave and go around the back. I refused to leave since another service representative was at the counter with another customer.. eventually the service representative (possibly the manager) thought for a second and asked " are you Will"? I said yes.. she knew my name because my girl friend called the store 20 minutes before, requesting the correct dog food package be readily available to avoid me purchasing the incorrect package for our two dogs. When the customer left I approached the counter and paid for the dog food package.. I asked why would you insist I leave and go around the back? The rude staff member responded "I thought you were an Uber Eats driver" I responded by saying "I told you, I was here for dog food" point of the story is be polite and courteous. If the customer is asked a question - LISTEN CAREFULLY! Don't assume you know what a customer is looking for. The staff member made a FOOL of herself in front of others as she was not discreet in her RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL approach. I hope the associate learned a valuable lesson or gets retrained- I have a feeling that employee has been rude to others..

This location is really hit or miss. They have deals for items that are close to the sell by date, and with 3 cats we pick up some cans from the buy 2 get 1 free section as backups/for a little variety since they eat a raw brand for all of their meals, which we always purchase from Global. Since the cats rarely get canned food we don’t see the reason to get them the same brand/protein every time, and purchase from the markdown section instead. There have been multiple occasions where the employee does not see the price stickers that indicate the markdown price (the section sign states that items with the sticker have the markdown price) and they end up charging for the all 3. We usually mention it as we’ve noticed they do not check. For the latest purchase we didn’t mention it, and they charged full price for the 3rd can. The only reason we purchase from here is because it is close by, but based on the latest exchanges I decided to find other retailers. There are locally owned, specialty pet shops that charge 15% less for the same raw food and they deliver within the city making them even more convenient than Global.

I was looking for a durable toy for my pet. Following the recommendations of staff, I paid 21.99 + taxes and, after 5 hours, was completely destroyed. Guys, dollarama toys are more durable

Definitely a great store and amazing staff with all the help. Kim & Hayley have been awesome helping with what I need for the doggo each time I visit. Lovely people, amazing team! New treat for dogs just dropped today by “MOOSE & MAPLE: Canuck Crunch” pups is going crazy for them and loves them alot! Great training treat!
