Aburi Sushi

The wait time was perfect 👌🏽 Our server (possibly Caucasian with dark purple hair) I was so tired I forgot her name 😭 was AMAZING and her service was SUPER AMAZING!! Even though it was a Sunday evening and this place was super busy she was still on point and had a quite a few tables. Appreciate the vibe, the good food and the crazy cold AC after a long day outdoors!!

My table did the all you can eat sashimi. I really liked how fresh some of the nigirizushi were prepared. On the salmon belly sashimi and nigirizushi, it was of higher quality due to fat content and freshness. On the tuna sashimi, it tasted like chutoro grade tuna from the lower belly and had a pleasant sea-like aroma. The yellowtail nigirizushi and sashimi was on the leaner side rather than being fatty. It was still fresh, however. The miso soup seemed to be made with some sort of white miso, which is a lighter miso paste. It lacked garnish, but the soup was pleasant. The gunkan-maki with ikura(red fish roe)seemed to have been rushed in the process of making them as they looked like they were about to fall apart. They were still good in terms of taste. The garnish on the sashimi and nigirizushi plates were well decorated and presented. The wasabi tasted like the flavors of American horseradish, because real wasabi is rarely seen anymore. It still had a nice spicy and herbal kick. The pickled ginger gave a nice flavor to the overall flavor profile of the sushi. The servers were very attentive with different tasks. They came regularly to our table and filled our waters up. The chefs did occasionally forget about our orders however, but got our order done eventually. Overall, premium cuts of salmon belly, slightly rushed orders, but had nice presentation, fresh cuts of different fishes, the chef sometimes would forget about orders, but servers were attentive 7.7/10 Would possibly come back

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! I’ve seen lots of posts and recommendations about this place on Instagram, but I was really disappointed. The sushi quality is very poor, mushy and all different sizes. The worst part is the sashimi, which is extremely salty. It seems like they kept frozen fish in salty water for a long time. The first order of tuna looked okay in the picture, but after that, the tuna wasn’t red, it had an orange-ish color. It also seems like they don’t have trained sushi chefs preparing the food. Honestly, it feels like anyone is cutting the fish. I wouldn’t even call it sushi. It’s more like raw fish and rice. Don’t trust Instagram posts. This was one of the worst Japanese restaurants I’ve been to..🤢

Amazing staff and selection. Freshest food and way more reasonable than other places.

This was a delicious lunch for all you can eat. I love the design the restaurant gives me great ambience it’s really modern. Service was amazing. All the servers were great fast quick to bring out the sushi and to clean off the tables which I really loved. We tried a few things from their appetizers to their rolls bake rolls, rice less rolls, and from their sashimi. Everything tasted delicious fresh flavorful. We are definitely coming back to enjoy dinner. All you can eat next time.
