Re: Julie Seo Shady, Greedy, and Completely Unethical – Stay Away Dealing with this broker of record was one of the worst professional experiences we’ve had. She represented the landlord but acted like she was running a personal scam. She refused to split commission with our agent, blatantly stating that if we wanted the property, she would take 100% of the commission—leaving us to pay our own realtor out of pocket. That is not only unethical, it’s disgraceful and against the law. We will be filing a complaint with RICO regarding this matter! She demanded 18 months’ rent upfront in the middle of COVID, exploiting a tough situation to squeeze money from us. On top of that, she collected first and last month’s rent and kept the last month’s payment, never crediting it back or applying it properly. This broker’s conduct was manipulative, greedy, and completely unprofessional. She used her position to take advantage of tenants and push her own agenda. If you value honesty, integrity, or fairness, avoid her at all costs.
