Don’t book LATAM airline unless you have no choice. They are terrible in every way. Check-in at JFK was ludicrous—6 employees standing around chatting. Flight to Lima was ok, except for dreadful food. Flight home was a nightmare of bad service and inedible food.

CAREFUL! DONT BUY TICKETS WITH LATAM. I bought a round trip with latam for 1366 dollars. I took the first trip but latam canceled my return and proposed to refund me. I accepted the refund. They refunded me 116 dollars for the return on a 1363 dollars roundtrip. CAREFUL ! I READ SO MANY BAD COMMENTS ON LATAM BEFORE BUYING THE TICKET WITH THEM… DONT DO THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME.

One of the worst websites I have ever seen. It doesn't let you use abroad cc. It is not intuitive or helpful to travelers. Plus I missed christmas because I tried to purchased a flight from sao paulo to Iberlandia on christmas day, and nothing. I made it to their box office a15 min before check out and they wouldn't sell me a flight because I had to check my 2 international.bags. Do not fly Latam!!!!!

LATAM airlines did a horrible job at PEM airport ( Puerto Maldonado Airport). we were a group of 25 returning from our vacation in Peru and heading back to Lima to get to NY. When we went to the airport, the staff mentioned that the flight was overbooked by 12% (on one of the busiest travel nights to NYC) and that they could not provide tickets for 6 of our family friends( keep in mind families were separated). They were asked to wait and given the waitlist numbers of 1-6, to check for cancellations. were were nervous, but felt happy once we saw 5 empty seats in economy and 4 in premium side when many of us boarded the flight, hoping our friends would be coming in. However none of them made it, as the captain was tired of waiting for the staff to make a decision and the plane took off. There were so many questions that were left unanswered, the staff at the counters did not even attempt to explain the reason and didn't know how to get us into those available seats. IT was a total mess and really spoiled our vacation as families were disappointed, kids were crying to have such a return. our friends had to book their hotels for the night ( Not to mention additional cost) and took the early morning flight the following day, as there were no other flights that night departing from PEM to LIMA. It is actually surprising that they overbook on an airport that has only one flight leaving and no alternate options for customers, in addition not even utilizing the available seats for customers who are waiting at the gate with a valid ticket. I would highly be skeptical to come through delta, moving forward if they are going to partner with such airlines. Flight number : LA2265, travel date: Dec 30th 17:20 PM PEM to LIMA. Horrible customer service!!!!
