Able to change a flight at last minute , although cost was a little more then expected, yet I really needed to change flight plans due to family situation. Flight was great, service was well. 5 stars 🌟

BEWARE that they will weigh your carry on. The weight limit is 7kg or 15lbs. If it's over, you're going to pay $200USD. So ridiculous. Their customer service is soooo bad and unforgiving for the carry on luggage. I never ever book China Airlines anymore.

Tell me why your agents at the ticket counter can't rebook a flight for another day if you won't let me get on my flight. They said visa approval from VN so I can't go. Okay my father was in the hospital, I did everything I could to get my visa and passport on time. Can't you help a girl out? All the agents there were so unkind and unhelpful. I bookedy ticket directly on their website and not through an agent. You would think they can at least help me out by booking me a new flight. Now that Starlux is flying out of ONT, everyone should choose them instead. Better customer service than China airlines by far.

My only issue is carry on limit. 7kg is fn ridiculous. That’s 15 lbs. sounds like a lot but a roller bag is nearly half the weight. I can pack 30 lbs in roller. There’s plenty of space so why harass customers about carryon??? Check in 2 hours before. Normal for big airplane at little airport? Nbd. Saw worse on AA intl during COVID. No line 4.5 hours before. Or checkin online advance. I got LAST ROW middle MIDDLE seat even tho I checked in 24 hour advance. Never happened in 10 years. The fn airline claimed to sell every seat. I didn’t know it was low cost carrier. Checkin Line was 1 hour. Plus 45 minutes security and then the passengers not tired of queueing, queued for 30 minutes boarding. Just 2 groups and both groups queued in advance of having their group called.

Can the gate attendant stop making things difficult on passenger’s carry on luggage? Everytime I come to here, always has a gate attendant trying to pick things on my carry on. I was with my son so I had one more bag for my son. What is your problem? After you know it, I didnt hear you say a sorry. However, the check-in attendant Howard Chang had a good service. Without his service, I would give this rating zero.
