Really good Korean kdogs I got the full cheese/potato kdog with hot Cheetos (it is extra). I wish they had more sauces but they have honey mustard, ketchup and sweet chili. Oh and spicy mayo included on your kdog too. We found paid street parking on a Sunday but it said free parking so yay we got lucky. The small parking lot they have in that lil strip mall seemed full and I think you pay to park in there. But definitely a must try for the Korean corn dogs 11/10!
Never disappoints. Best k-dog I've ever had (yes, even in Korea) and the so-tteok so-tteok is exactly the right addition to round it out. Friendship hot dogs forever!
My visit to 88 Hotdog was an unexpectedly delightful culinary adventure, especially for someone with a penchant for creatively crafted fast food. Nestled in a bustling, crowded area where parking can be a bit of a treasure hunt, this gem stands out for its unique offerings and commendable service. Starting with the mozzarella corn dog, it was a standout in both size and flavor, offering great value for its price. The corn dog was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a gooey, stretchy mozzarella center that was both satisfying and indulgent. It’s the kind of treat that brings a smile to your face with each bite, blending the nostalgic essence of a classic corn dog with a cheesy twist that elevates it to a whole new level. The adventure didn't stop there; the yogurt drinks were a revelation in their own right. I indulged in a variety of flavors - peach, mango, blueberry, and pineapple - each one more refreshing and flavorful than the last. These drinks had a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, with the fruit flavors shining through beautifully. They were not just good; they were exceptional, adding a refreshing contrast to the savory richness of the corn dog. The service at 88 Hotdog deserves a special mention. Despite the crowded location, the employee was friendly, efficient, and quick to serve, making the overall experience even more pleasant. It's always a breath of fresh air to encounter service that is both warm and competent, especially in fast-paced environments. While the parking situation and crowded surroundings might deter some, the culinary delights and the cheerful service at 88 Hotdog make it well worth the effort. It's a small price to pay for the joy of biting into a delicious mozzarella corn dog and sipping on exquisitely flavored yogurt drinks. For anyone in the area or those willing to brave the parking challenge, 88 Hotdog is a must-visit spot that promises a satisfying and tasty experience.
The food here is really good. I had never tried Korean hotdogs before and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I ordered a couple different options and the potato half and half was probably my favorite. I also really like the cheese with sugar crust combo. Don’t knock it until you try it!
I found this spot via Google search. The parking is limited. Thank goodness I found a spot. The food plac itself is extremely small. The music was blasting. It was so loud I could barely here the man behind the counter. I had the number 3. It was a cheddar dog. The cheddar cheese sat at the bottom of thr corn dog. When I finally got to the cheese it tasted like kraft singles sandwich cheese. For the drink, I had the orange pineapple juice. That was amazing.
